Laser EuroCup 7.-10.7.2005 St.Gilgen4.7 EPS 11.-12.6.2005standard and radial and 4.7 The team participated the EuroCup regatta in Hoorn, the Netherlands, on 19.-22.5. In radial class Pierre Collura was third overall and 1st in under 17 class, and Mattias Lindfors was 21. in the tough race. In 4.7 Tuula Tenkanen was 5. and 1st female, and she was the first Finnish female sailor to participate the Laser EuroCup series! Miikka Paajanen was on the 6th place. The team has already had success in the first EuroCup Laser regattas of the season. Pierre Angelo Collura leads the Laser Radial series in under 17 category and he is third overall after four races! Miikka Paajanen was 8. in the Lugano race in 4.7 and Mattias Lindfors 4. in Radial in under 17 category in Andora, finishing third in one start. The spring physical test for the team was made on April 24 at Vierumäki. The training during the winter basic condition period was nicely visible in the results, and again a new basis was founded for the definition of an individual training program for each athlete. (27.4.2005) |
