Heidi finished 8th at ISAF Youth World´s. The Laser Radial fleet was really strong and Heidi is still only 16 years old. She has to more years to compete at ISAF youth level. This is her biggest success so far in Laser Radial. Now Heidi is having few days rest and she is travelling from Denmark to the Youth Europeans, which will be held 25.7.-1.8. in France.
Heidi Tenkanen is sailing really well at ISAF Youth World´s. She has so far won one race and is third overall after four races. In the fifth race Heidi was 7th. Sixth race was difficult for Heidi and that race is now her discard. There are not yeat results available after six races. Tomorrow is a lay day and racing continues on Wednesday.

Tuula and her coach Minna have arrived to Qingdao; host town for 2008 Olympic Games sailing event. "The town is very nice and we have already tried chinese foot massage and local food. It´s not so hot at a moment. I will start on water training tomorrow together with other Laser Radial sailors. In the hotel we have well equipped gym, swimming pool and sauna and today we also got our first ever chinese sauna experience. It was like back home in Finland. I feel relaxed and ready for the next week's hard training" commented Tuula today from Qingdao.

Finnish Olympic committee selected 15 new athletes to represent Finland in Beijing Olympic Games on Tuesday 20th of May. Tuula won Finnish Sailing Federation´s national qualifier series earlier this spring and has already started her final preparations for the Olympic regatta in China.
Last week she sailed two regattas in Holland and next week she will travel to China for training together with her coach Minna Aalto.
