Final results
Tuula had good speed and some really good races during the week, but especially last racing day she made too many tactical mistakes and ended up to 15th place scoring 6 world cup points.

Two first racing days
MA Sailing Team´s young racers are on full action in Palma. Tuula Tenkanen has started well and she has finished twice in top ten so far. Yesterday she was 3rd in the first race and today 6th in the second race.

Racing preparations
Olympic classes world cup event starts on Sunday in Palma de Mallorca. MA Sailing Team has five sailors participating in the regatta: Veronika Haid, Annina Takala, Heidi and Tuula Tenkanen in Laser Radial and Mattias Lindfors in Laser standard.
The whole team has been training in CAR Murcia during the winter. Mattias has already been training in Mallorca in March and Tuula and Veronika finished their training camp in Cartagena just two days ago. Tuula, Veronika and coach Minna Aalto arrived Palma de Mallorca this morning by ferry and the rest of the team will arrive tomorrow.

Ida Voutilainen sailed again well in Europa Cup event. There were 125 Laser 4.7 participating in this regatta and Ida finished 32. overall and she was again one of the best female racers in her class finishing 4th in the women´s fleet.

Ida Voutilainen had an excellent start for the 2009 racing season. Ida was training in Mar Menor, Spain at the beginning of March and then she travelled to Lugano to take part in her first ever Europa Cup event.
Racing went well and Ida finished 9th overall among 42 Laser 4.7 sailors(male and female). In Europa cups boys and girls race together, but there are prizes and final results for both boys and girls category.
In girls category Ida finished second and only Slovenia´s Kim Plekitos was able to beat her. Kim finished 7th overall and the 3rd girl Fanni Pech from Hungary was 14th overall. Fanni was 2nd in 2008 Optimist European´s.
The next regatta for Ida will be Europa Cup event in Italy next weekend.
